3 Peaks Resort & Beach Club hotel (Homewood) - my perfect stay

Fantastic people and the facility at the 3 Peaks Resort & Beach Club hotel in Homewood. I was delayed at check in for a day due to car issues. When I called the front desk, Amber relaxed me and was in my opinion really helpful with many problems.

We had a few reservations and room types, all well equipped, with excellent beds and bedding, very comfortable, a huge LCD TV with satellite channels, workstation desk, plenty of electrical outlets, arm chairs, fridge. The King Suites have a fully equipped kitchen with dining area, spacious living room with a super comfortable sleeper sofa couch, armchair and ottoman, fireplace, and good bureau with plenty of drawer storage space.

Terraces and balconies are also nice, a little color. The pool was large and perfectly heated, and the hot tub was hot and both were clean. There are also barbecue areas with picnic tables on the complex. Laundry facilities are on site.

Excellent location, within walking distance (just a mile or 1.6 km) of the Heavenly Village gondola and golf course etc. in South Lake Tahoe, state border casinos and restaurants, shops, beaches and marina.

Amber, Kim and Beth are perfect leaders and professionals with references and just very accommodating and sincere. Few recognize here and there, but the weather and guests are tough on Tahoe vacation home. One of the best value for money in a wonderful place. Well done. Would without doubt stay here again.

Essential information about Divi Flamingo Beach Resort and Casino in Bonaire

General
In sum, a hotel of a 3-star category. There have been some renovations, but in the room you can refill (except the bathrooms). The conditions on the pool chairs would have to be cleaned steadily. The dive shop is great, you will find everything and the divemaster are very friendly. We would recommend the hotel, but would take another one at a next Bonaire stay to get to know another area.

 location
Very good location, as it is very fast at the airport, in the supermarket or in the capital. room
First impression is, that everything is shabby, but at the second look you get used to it. Chairs and tables need felt pads so they do not scratch the tiled floor, which bothers the neighbors. Chests of drawers really need to be swapped since they are almost falling apart. Safe was the right size (laptop and other personal items went in easily). The bathrooms were all new and therefore in good condition. In sum, the room service needs more cleaning (shower walls, table tops, tile floors under the bed, balcony). service
At the reception we were always treated kindly, the staff in the room service and in the restaurant were sometimes not so motivated. We had to say once at the front desk that we were dissatisfied with the cleaning and equipment of the room (shower and toilets were not sufficiently cleaned, it lacked toilet paper, towels and the bed linen was changed only after our complaint). But everything was taken care of immediately. The Divemaster are all together great!

 gastronomy
The food is really bad. We were always in the evening eating out, for lunch we only ate a hamburger or chips, but that was just so-so. For breakfast there was always the same, you had to be creative yourself. But it was always fresh and well chilled. It was also great that we got free drinking water everywhere, so that we only needed to buy two plastic bottles in the supermarket, which we refilled again and again

 Recreational
Divi Flamingo Beach Resort and Casino in Bonaire is a diver's paradise, so you can start right from the hotel. Either by pick-up rental car (rental station is right on the hotel grounds, cost of a pick-up per day was 55 fair) to one of the entrances on the beach or descent directly from the hotel pier. Anyway, it's just fun. Otherwise you can stretch your legs at two pools or in the evening in the casino to celebrate his remaining money. There is no animation, which was great for us. In the spa you can use treatments and massages, which we did not do.

Hotel Best Western Bayfront - Saint Augustine

Decent motel Hotel Best Western Bayfront - Saint Augustine with comfortable location and magnificent view of the bay

I liked it here for the last time we visited Street Augustine we stayed here while being with friends. The hotel itself is lovely, in the city center and everything is excellent to reach from there. It is well connected by the traffic on the 1st and also within walking distance of the historic center and the Spanish Fort is the Best Western ideal.

The rooms are not very spacious, but are comfortable and you have enough space for a short stay. So otherwise it's okay. The associated bathrooms are really tiny (and for a ""very good"" rating clearly too small). The beds and the air conditioning are good.
The wireless network was unfortunately too slow. As a pleasant bonus the complex has a pool.

Now as for the parking. If you check in early enough there is enough parking places. Also, there was no shortage during our stay but I can imagine, that in the season or at the weekend sometimes can be tight. Parking is extra, but a 'must' as parking elsewhere in Street Augustine is difficult and expensive.

The staff was polite and unobtrusive. The service is excellent, so every guest gets on arrival a bag of 2 bottles of water and a sachet of chips as a welcome gift. Due to a change in my route, I arrived at the motel one day earlier and unfortunately had forgotten to let them know in advance. This circumstance was not a problem at all. So again, the staff are great and helpful and the coffee at the desk is very good!

It's nice to sit on the upper deck in the afternoon with a cold drink or two and meet new friends while watching the magnificent views of the bay and the Bridge of Lions.
I would also recommend the Athena Greek Restaurant at the Dom Hotel for breakfast, good and reasonably priced food.

Ultimate guide to Rome, Italy

Home to the Vatican City, an independent country existing within the city limits, Rome is a global city and is without any surprise regularly in the top 20 most visited cities in Europe. Considered one of the birthplaces of Western civilization, the "Eternal City” has a rich and fascinating history dating back nearly 2500 years ago. Segmented into multiple districts, the historical center contains a myriad of museums, impressive displays of Renaissance Italian architecture, classic statues and, of course, the crumbling but still awe-inspiring Colosseo (Colosseum or Coliseum) visited by the thousands every year.

The Befana (Epiphany) is celebrated in January towards the end of the Christmas season in Italy. On January 6, hundreds of people dressed in medieval apparel and bearing symbolic gifts meant for the Pope walk to the Vatican. Later, the Pope commemorates the event of the Three Wise Men bringing gifts for Jesus by reading morning mass in St. Peter's Basilica.

Visit Rome in late February on Ash Wednesday and you may get to see the Pope walking from the Basilica of St. Sabina to Circus Maximus accompanied by the College of Cardinals. Rome also has the Noianti Festival in July with plenty of fireworks, parade floats and folk music honoring the Virgin Carmine. Springtime in Rome brings the Settimana della Cultura, a Cultural Heritage Week event when state-owned monuments and museums allow visitors to enter free of charge.
Rome's Mediterranean climate offers dry, hot summers and humid, cool winters with January daytime temperatures averaging 53 F (11 C) and July daytime temperatures of 87 F (31 C). Although July and August is typically hot with a great level of sunshine, many tourists decide to visit the city at this time of the year because the local residents flee to the coast for relief, leaving them the city to themselves.
Note that there will be more rain during the fall and especially in November and although it rarely snows the temperatures can drop on occasion in December and January.

The Catacombe di Roma (Catacombs of Rome) are underground burial sites spreading out under the city that resulted from land shortages and overcrowding beginning in 2 AD. Also called the Christian Catacombs, these catacombs contain invaluable information about early Christian art.
Nature reserves and well-kept public parks cover extensive areas of Rome, along with lavishly landscaped gardens and charming villas, notably the Villa Doria Pamphili and the Villa Borghese, which contains several famous art galleries hidden along its tree-shaded walkways.
Medieval, Baroque and classical fountains decorate the city and piazzas like delightful oases. Rome's fountains are alive with allegorical figures sculpted by Italian artists who wanted to integrate the graceful movement of water with their artwork. Viewing the Sistine Chapel in Vatican City is a must for anyone visiting Rome. Probably the most famous and beautiful fresco in the world, the Sistine Chapel is Michelangelo's crowning achievement and represents the ultimate in classic Italian artistry.

Located in four different places (the Crypta Balbi, Terme di Diocleziano, Palazzo Altemps and the Palazzo Massimo alle Terme), the National Roman Museum preserves a dazzling variety of Roman relics, from sarcophagi and jewelry to statues, coins and earthenware.

My journey to Minsk

Minsk has a fascinating history that goes back at least to the year 1067. The city has been destroyed and rebuilt a number of times and the last damage occurred during WWII. As a result most of the buildings in Minsk have been built after 1944. The Museum of the Great Patriotic War has28 rooms with artifacts and photographs showing what Minsk endured during WWII. The Belarus National Museum of History and Culture isanother large museum that thoroughly explains and depicts the long history and interesting culture of Minsk. In the city there are several large squares also including the Ploshcha Peramohi (Victory Square) and the Ploshcha Jakuba Kolasa. You can safely walk the city from your choice of budget hotels in Minsk. One small section of Old Town has been rebuilt in a way that recreates what life was like in the 17th and 18th centuries. Here you can find Victoria Na Zamkovoy Hotel in Minsk.
